Aloo Gobhi curry (Cauliflower with potatoes)

This dish is dish super yummy, eat with roti, paratha and poori dal.

Ingredients

  • 1 head cauliflower – cut in small pieces

  • 1/2 tsp hing

  • 2 medium potato – cut in small pieces

  • 2 green chilly – finely chopped

  • 2 tsp ginger- grated

  • 2 tbsp coriander leaves – finely chopped for garnish

  • 2 tbsp oil

  • 2 tsp red chili powder

  • 2 tbsp coriander powder

  • 2 tsp turmeric

  • 1 tsp amchoor powder

  • 1 tsp garam masala powder

Directions

  • Put the oil in the pan and wait until heated. Add cumin seed and hing. When the cumin seed is crackling.
    mix in the cauliflower and the potato. Add red chilly powder, coriander powder, turmeric, and salt.
    Add green chilly and ginger.
    Stir the curry often to prevent burns and cover the lid for about 10 to 15 minutes on slow flame.
  • When the curry is tender, add garam masala and amchoor powder. Mix.
  • Garnish with coriander leaves. Ready to serve with chapati and naan!

Notes

  • Mix this curry often to prevent it from becoming completely mashed – try to stir every 30 seconds.

  • sometime gobhi become mashed , try to wash before making curry ( dry and use )just cut and make.
  • when completely tender sabji if you feel gobhi over cooked, just without lid leave for about 5 minutes, or longer. not see much mashed.
