Healthy Dry Fruit Energy Bites (No Sugar, No Oil)

These energy bites are naturally sweet, full of protein, and perfect for a quick snack. Made with roasted nuts, seeds, and dates, they come together in just 10 minutes and keep well for weeks.

Ingredients

  • ½ cup almonds


    ½ cup cashews


    ½ cup pistachios


    1 cup seedless dates


    ⅓ cup pumpkin seeds


    ⅓ cup sunflower seeds

Directions

  • 1. Roast the nuts
    Heat a pan on medium heat.


    Add almonds and roast for 1 minute.


    Add cashews and pistachios and roast everything together for 2–3 minutes, until warm and fragrant.


    Remove from the pan and let Roast the seeds
    In the same pan, add pumpkin seeds and sunflower seeds.


    Roast for 1–2 minutes, until they start to lightly pop.


    Remove and cool.

  • 3. Grind the nuts and seeds
    Add all roasted nuts and seeds to a blender or food processor.


    Pulse 2–3 times to make a coarse mixture.
     (Do not grind into a fine Blend the dates
    Add dates to the blender and pulse until they form a sticky paste.


    If your dates are dry, warm them in the microwave for 10–20 seconds first.


    5. Mix and combine
    Transfer the dates paste to a bowl.


    Add the nut–seed mixture.


    Use your hands to mix until everything comes together like a dough.

  • 6. Shape the bites
    Roll the mixture into small balls (ladoo

    Optional: press into a baking tray and cut into bars.

Notes

  • Store in an airtight container for 1 week at room temperature,

  •  or up to 1 month in the refrigerator.
  • Add more varieties of nuts , like add makhana, kismis or more.
