The spicy crust on these potato wedges them mouthwatering, Especially when served with a zesty chili dip.

Ingredients

  • 2 baking potatoes, about 8 ounces

  • 2 tbsp olive oil

  • 2 garlic cloves- finely chopped

  • 1 tsp ground allspice

  • 1 tsp coriander powder

  • 1 tbsp paprika

  • Salt and black pepper to taste

Directions

  • Preheat oven 400f. Clean the potatoes. Cut them in half and then into 8 wedges.
  • Take a wide sauce pan and add potatoes with cold water, bring to a boil,.
    Then lower the heat (simmer) gently for 10 minute, or until the potatoes have softened slightly.
    Drain well and pat dry on pepper towels.
    Mix the oil , garlic , allspice, coriander and paprika in a roasting pan. Season with salt and pepper.
    Add the potatoes and shake to coat thoroughly. Now put the pan in the oven about 20 minute, turning occasionally.
  • Ready! Serve hot, with chili dip

Notes

  •  Use red potatoes and add as like spice.
