Spongy Rasgulla

Rasgulla is one of the famous and delicious Indian sweets made from milk and sugar. Best variety of rasgullas come from West Bengal and they are very light, soft and spongy. Rasgulla is fairly easy to make but one needs to be aware of small tricks to make it spongy and turn it into a perfect dessert. One of the tricks is to make sure you smooth chenna (Indian cottage cheese) by kneading it  but don’t over-knead it.

Sesame (Til) Laddu With Khoya/Mawa

This laddu recipe is amazing! Everything is made from scratch, including the khoya (but feel free to buy it to save time). It’s a very simple recipe, but incredibly tasty and delicious. And, sesame seeds are especially good for the winter!

Mango Milkcake (Barfi)

First, take a tray and spread butter or wax paper.
Take a fry pan and put on high heat. Add mango pulp with condensed milk and stir in the pan.
Wait until the mango mixture is boiling. Keep stirring.
Meanwhile, add the saffron to the milk and keep aside.
Once boiling, simmer and keep stirring.
Add saffron milk and cardamom to the mixture. Keep stirring for about 15 minutes.
Now, add cream and keep stirring for about 20 minutes.
Slowly incorporate the dry milk powder and continue to mix, otherwise the milk will not mix.
Then wait for about 10 minutes or until the mixture does not stick to the pan. If not thick, add more dry milk powder.
Take a tray and evenly spread the mango mixture.
Garnish with cardamom, pistachios, almonds and chandi varak.
Put the barfi in the fridge overnight or longer.,

Brown (Moth) Moong Sproutted Healty Cheela

These cheelas are a great way to start eating protein for breakfast. You can prepare for this recipe the day before so that all you have to do in the morning is cook the cheelas. Serve with tea, dahi or green chutney. Compared to green mung, brown mung (moth) is easier to digest and tastes great.
