Vegetable Pakoras

minutesVegetable pakora is a very famous snack in India, especially in the rainy season Vegetable pakora is a very famous snack in India, especially in the rainy season.
Ingredients
1 small onion – cut in circles
1/2 cup cauliflower – cut in small pieces
1/2 cup spinach
2 or 3 green chili – cut in small pieces or to taste
1 tsp red chili powder for vegetable + 1 tsp for flour or to taste
1 tsp turmeric
2 cup gram flour (Besan) or more if required
2 tsp chat masala or pakora masala
oil for frying
Salt to taste
1/2 tsp ajwaine
1/2 cup water or to required
Directions
- Take a large dish and add the besan, salt to taste, 1 tsp red chilly powder, and turmeric. add the water slowly and mix to make a batter. rest for 15 minutes.
- Take all vegetables with green chills and mix in the 1tsp salt and 1 tsp red chilly powder or to taste. Keep to the side.
- for about 1 minute.
- Put the fry pan on the stove and pour in the oil. Start at slow heat. When the oil starts smoking, add the vegetables in the besan batter and mix.
Use your hand to pick up about one tablespoon of the batter and drop it in the oil. Or, use a spoon. Keep at slow heat and fry until golden.
il the pakoras are golden. Put the pakoras on a paper towel. Make all of the pakoras in the same manner.
Right after taking the pakoras out of the oil, sprinkle on some chat masala or pakora masala on the pakoras. - Serve with green chutney and tomato ketchup and enjoy!
Notes
- Note: If you’d like, you can use other vegetables other than the ones mentioned in this recipe, such as potatoes and eggplants.
