Blue Cheese and Port Dip

minutesMost of the time, we use cream cheese to spread on bread. Here’s a unique dip that has a delicious and salty flavor created by the blue cheese and port, and most importantly, it’s incredibly satisfying
Ingredients
12 oz cream cheese – at room temperature
2 oz unsalted butter – softened
4 tbsp port
10 ½ oz blue cheese – at room temperature, mashed
1 tbsp snipped chives
1 ½ oz walnuts – halved
Directions
- Take a bowl and using an electric beater, mix the cream cheese and butter until smooth.
- Add the blue cheese and chives, stir until just combined.
- Add salt and pepper to taste.
- Put the cream in a serving bowl and cover with plastic wrap.
- Refrigerate until firm for about 4 to 5 hours or overnight.
- Arrange the walnuts over the top of the bowl and press down lightly.
- Serves at room temperature with celery and crusty bread. Enjoy!
Notes
- Use in 4 to 5 days and keep fridge.
