Lauki ke Kheer

minutesIt’s very easy and tasty, dish. if you are fasting or anytime make this super yummy dessert recipe.
Ingredients
1 small lauki – grated
2 cups whole milk or as you like
4 tbsp sugar or to taste
2 tsp ghee
2 tsp cardamom
few threads of saffron (optional)1 tsp gulab jal
Directions
- Start the stove at medium heat and put the fry pan on with ghee. And add 2tbsp milk in saffron and keep aside.
Add lauki and stir for about 2-3 minutes. add saffron milk.
Add milk and cover the lid. Now slow the heat and wait for about 5 -7 minutes or until the lauki is tender. - Add sugar and mix. Ready to eat! Serve cold or room temperature.
- Garnish with gulab jal and cardamom.

- Add sugar your taste. Or if you like add jaggery instead sugar.
