It’s very easy and tasty, dish. if you are fasting or anytime make this super yummy dessert recipe.

Ingredients

  • 1 small lauki – grated

  • 2 cups whole milk or as you like

  • 4 tbsp sugar or to taste

  • 2 tsp ghee

  • 2 tsp cardamom
    few threads of saffron (optional)

  • 1 tsp gulab jal

Directions

  • Start the stove at medium heat and put the fry pan on with ghee. And add 2tbsp milk in saffron and keep aside.
    Add lauki and stir for about 2-3 minutes. add saffron milk.
    Add milk and cover the lid. Now slow the heat and wait for about 5 -7 minutes or until the lauki is tender.
  • Add sugar and mix. Ready to eat! Serve cold or room temperature.
  • Garnish with gulab jal and cardamom.
