It very rich sweet recipe and easy to make.

Ingredients

  • 3 cups whole milk

  • 1/2 cup rice – washed and soak for 1/2 hour

  • 1 cup sugar or to taste

  • Garnish

  • 2 tsp cardamom powder

  • 2 tbsp almonds – blanched

  • 1 tbsp golden raisins

  • 3 to 4 flakes saffron

Directions

  • Take a heavy pan, and add milk, and put the stove at low heat. When the milk is boil, add rice and stir. Continue for 1 hour. Or more if required.
    Meanwhile take 1/3 cup milk and add saffron and keep aside.now Stir, frequently the Kheer, when the milk is thick, add saffron mix. 
  • Now add sugar mix and close the lid, for about 5 minutes.
  • For garnish add almond, cardamom, and raisins. Serve cold. or as you like.
  • Note: If you’d like, add 1 tsp ghee and add one tsp cardamom powder and 1/2 tsp cinnamon and add to the kheer.  need more recipes link.

Notes

  • This is super yummy and rich dessert recipe. and keep in fridge for about 7 to 8 hour or overnight .
  • When you serve add more nuts or as you like .
