Custard with Gulab Jamun

minutesI love to eat and serve this cold dessert in the summer time! I am sure everyone will enjoy this colourful, delectable dish!
Ingredients
3 cups whole or 2% milk
2 tbsp custard powder – vanilla or as you like
Sugar to taste
8 small sized gulab jamuns – room temperature or a little warm if you want a hot/cold taste
Few drops of roohafza (can be found in Indian stores)
For garnish – pistachio and almond slices
Optional: grapes pomegranate seeds,mango and strawberry
Directions
- Start a heavyweight pan at medium heat.
- Add the milk, then take a bowl and add ⅓ cup of water and custard powder. Mix and keep aside.
- When the milk is hot, add the custard powder mix, and wait until boil.
- Check the consistency – we need it to be a little thick. Remember when it’s cold, the custard thicken more.If it’s watery, add more custard powder.
- Now, add sugar and stir.
- Then keep inside the fridge for about 3 to 4 hours or more.
- Take a serving bowl and add the custard milk and 2 gulab jamuns.
- Garnish with pistachios and almonds. If you want fruit, add at this time.
- Finally, add a few drops of roohafza.
- Enjoy!

- Make a before a day, then become more tasty. and if you want cut 1/2 size gulag jamun or more small size add this. as you like.
Add small size of fruits also.
Add sugar as you like because of gulab jamun and fruits also is sweet.
